  • How do I choose the best Grand Canyon Tour for us?
Here are some helpful hints so you can select the Grand Canyon Tour that's just right for you! • GRAND CANYON with no RUINS A popular option. The basic tour focuses strictly on the Grand Canyon. We know that vacations an get expensive so we try to help by offering the lowest cost alternative. Gives you a chance to absorb all you can and enjoy one of the seventh natural wonders of the world. • GRAND CANYON with RUINS Not only do you get the Grand Canyon , you get a taste of all that Northern Arizona has to offer. Volcanoes: Arizona is home to 28 volcanic craters. Do not worry... none are active. We visit Sunset Crater Monument. It has such a lunar landscape, that is where the astronauts trained for the Rover mission. Native American Culture: Visit to Wupatki Ruins. A visit to the Sinaguans who where trading with the Mayans in southern Mexico before a horse was even ridden in the area. Drive through the Navajo reservation. A stop at the famous Cameron Trading Post for lunch. A long day … but a full and fun packed day! • GRAND CANYON SUNSET Nothing better than the Grand Canyon than the Grand Canyon at Sunset. A photographer's favorite as the lighting is simply incredible. Also a favorite for those not early risers, as the tour leaves later in the morning. Sunsets are considered a specialty tour. Meaning the tour is not offered every day and requires a minimum of four guests. We are proud that this tour is exclusive to our company. • GRAND CANYON with TRAIN EXCURSION For those train enthusiasts, we offer one more rail excursion to cross off the list. Our tour combines the best of both, a one way train ride and then we meet you as you arrive at the Grand Canyon to continue your exploration along the South rim in the comfort of our vehicle. The train car can be selected from a historical traditional coach up to an upgraded luxury dome experience. Things you should know about the Grand Canyon train ride: The train is slower then normal transportation , so you will sacrifice canyon time. The train ride is on the way to the Grand Canyon so you dont see the Grand Canyon from the train. The scenery during your train trip is desert vegetation. • GRAND CANYON DAY HIKE You dont really appreciate the enormity of the Grand Canyon til you go below the rim. The Grand Canyon day hike is a hike in the morning, lunch after, then some sight-seeing and picture taking oppurtunities above the rim to finish out the day. We use the South Kaibab Trail primarily which offers great views and offers something for all levels of experience.
  • What are the Antelope Canyon Tour Choices?
Antelope Canyon is a labyrinth of reddish-orange walls of swirling waves of sandstone created from many years of flowing water erosion. There are various sections each with unique names and managed by various tribal companies because of it being on Navajo land. Although there are subtle differences from the various sections, all are exceptional slot canyons. Only an expert would be able to distinguish photos from their source. The most popular sections of Antelope Canyon are: • UPPER ANTELOPE CANYON (The Crack") The most popular because it was the first developed and heavily marketed of all the sections. It is one of the easiest slot canyon but still requires the ability to navigate irregular sandy surfaces. The popular sun beam of light is more pronounced during mid day and between March thru October. It is typically more crowded because of the popularity. Canyon distance is about 0.5 mile. Consists of A-shaped (wide floor with narrow tops) pathways. • ANTELOPE CANYON X A deep slot canyon at 150 ft and consists of two sections. It has recently gained popularity because of the overcrowdness and popularity of Antelope Canyon. Canyon distance is about 0.5 mile. Has both A and V shape formations and also has the sunbeam. Canyon X is classified as easy to moderate but requires the ability to navigate sandy irregular surfaces. • LOWER ANTELOPE CANYON ("The Corkscrew") This slot canyon is narrower at the bottom, “V” shaped. It is more adventourous but requires navigating various ladders throughout this section thus the harder of all the sections. Canyon distance is about 0.25 mile long.

  • What kind of vehicle will I be traveling in?
We have the largest and the newest fleet in the area. Our modern fleet is perfect for our small group strategy. The fleet is primarily Ford Transit mid-roof vans that are very comfortable for long day trips with large panoramic windows for great views and photo opportunities. The vehicle seats 14 guests but we try not to seat more then 10 guests per trip to give our guests plenty of room. For groups that have between 8 and 14 members, we try to give you your own van. For smaller groups, all our tours can be turned into a private one, guaranteeing your own vehicle and Tour Guide. If you have special needs or have physical restrictions, please communicate these at the time of booking. We will accommodate if possible. If we can .. we will. Our vehicles are easy to identify. They are silver with red and blue stripes with the “Arizona Tour & Travel” logo on the side.
  • What is your cancellation policy?
We understand that there are times when you must cancel knowing that stuff happens. However, when you do not call promptly, you are preventing another guest from being able to attend the tour and costs have already been incurred. Conversely, the situation may arise where another guest fails to cancel preventing you from getting a seat for your tour. So please communicate quickly as soon as you anticipate something going awry. • No communication warrants NO DISCUSSION ON REFUNDS. • No fees are refunded if the customer does not meet the cancellation timing. Gift Certificates are authorized by management for critical circumstances. • For large groups traveling together or expensive tour selections, we always recommend trip cancellation/interruption Insurance to protect your investment. Most will cover bad weather, medical emergencies, flight cancellations, etc.
